Toshiba E901...Bent corners

I have 2 E901's side by side and both are folding the lead edge rear corners...Only on certain copy runs...Everything is 2 sided, 3 hole punched....everything.......When the punch is turned off, the bent corners stop... However, all other jobs run good even with punch on..Is there something about the Finisher entrance??? If the punch unit is the culprit, why does it dog ear on certains jobs...??? Any bent corner experts out there.....???

You should open the side door several times during printing to halt the job. That way you can see exactly where the bend starts or doesn't start. It's normally really tiny paper debris in the way, or some hardware guide not aligned or chipped off. Be thorough!

Good luck, keep me posted

I talked my parts dept. into ordering a new entire duplex assembly. $$$$$$ ..Problem fixed...This machine has 14million copies..I guess it's time to replace entire sections...
