i face the problem of changing some settings in the printer (ga 1040 ) and when i enter 12345 it ask me valid password can i remove this quest ? thanks for help

If you don't know the password, reloading firmware will wipe it. There is a master password, but you'll have to get that somewhere else. Emujo

GA-1140 (i think GA-1040 is for es-45) has a backdoor password. You can find it in the older threads .

Think you want 123456

i think you need to get the Master Code. To get the master code, you need to print out the Setting Mode Data List. The Master Code is on the last page.

This is the master code for the copier not the network card. I thought the default was 1234 or 0000 on that model.

1 to 6 is the admin pass for e-bridge machines (newer that e550).
