The machine was not in service for about 2 years. Was in an office networked with fax and scan options. Now moved into home office. Not connected to network or fax line. Machine starts up, fuser heats but says "wait". Also say "Network Initializing". No other errors present. Any ideas? Thanks.
You can do 08-693 to reset the NIC, might get rid of the Network Initializing message. As to the wait, it could be the HDD you can try 08-690 (2) to format the HDD. You'll lose any stored phone number, templates, etc... but if it formats it will still fire up.

Formatting the hard drive created a system error "2". I can buy the hard drive from Hytec but need the system software. Can anyone get that for me? Thanks.
get a generic hdd from the computer store as for firmware pm me with a ftp i will send .... file is big so make lots of room
