Toshiba eStudio 3511c and Windows 7

Is there a driver available for Windows 7? We had pcl5c before on XP and on Vista, but the install file I have won't work on 7. Any tips to save me from an OS reversion?

its not even released yet why would toshiba release drivers yet for a machine that they dont want to support anyways?

have you tried the "universal ebridge driver"? http://fyi.toshiba.com:81/KB/file_up...v-ps-v2021.zip

by the way you can use a hp driver just try a few until you find one that "works"

We used a PS3 driver for vista on a 3510 customer running Windows 7 and it worked. Perhaps it would work on a 3511 as well.

Supposedly (take with large grain of salt), any Vista driver will work on 7. I don't believe that but it was relayed to me by a customer.

I have an account that is testing windows 7 (beta actual release is not until10-22-09) and they have been using Vista drivers without any difficulty. The 3511 is so old that if the Vista driver (and firmware update required to use it) does not work then the machine will have to be replaced. I doubt that a Windows 7 driver will be made for something that old. If you use an hp driver then you will lose some of the advanced features (duplex, staple) but should be able to print to it.

3511/4511 PS3 Vista

I just installed the ps3 driver on a vista box and noticed all the option in the configuration are greyed out as well as the fonts window is this normal for the Vista driver for the 3511/4511 or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Never mind, I found the solution on my own. In case anyone needs to know, go to start menu/control panel/printers right click toshiba/run as administrator/properties you can then change the configuration settings.
