GL 1020 problem

I have problem with a Toshiba E-Studio 650.
"Starting Controller Please Wait". Won't come out of wait.

I'm new with that modela.. Have 2 pcs one e-st 650 and one e-st 550. No service manual and no recovery or other cd. Don't know where to start from..
Is it possible to clone hdd from working one ?

i believe you could clone them...they run linux i believe .. it would be better to get the firmware and replace the hdd tho. newer firmware was sposed to make hdd last better

Yes, Norton Ghost is excellent for this, we had to replace over 100 drives for a customer that had security concerns. This saved us many hours of travel and screwdriver time. The ghosted drive will work in any GL10X0 controller. EMujo

Thanks you very much.. I'll try to clone hdd with Acronis true image.

Clonin HDD with Acronis took about 3 hours but helped to solve the problem.. Next time i'll try CDs..
