So Look trust me!
Things do go wrong with new parts.
You said the other dev unit works fine from the other machine??
Put the problem dev unit in the other machine to see if you still have the problem??
Re dev it and fresh toner.
It will fix it.

A preveous similar service call : I had an e-550 where the print kept washing out. We checked everything. Changed drum, DV, coronas, and eventually the customer would call back with the same problem.
In our case, we would run maybe 200 copies at a time and we would see the prints start to fade.
We then tried exchanging the toner hopper ass'y from a parts machine and tested it the same way and noticed the problem was solved. Something was wrong with the toner hopper. Even though you could see the toner ctg turn, it just was not adding enough toner. I never had to find the exact problem with that toner hopper unit since it came from a parts machine and I had to move on to put out other fires.
Try exchanging the toner hopper if you happen to have another machine to pull it from.
Good luck.

After changing 08-455, 08-466, cleaning everything and doing 05-290 copy quality looks great - fogging dissapeared little by little after ~200 copies. Thanks for your advices, i'll need them in the future..

You will never, EVER get this machine to run right. It is a VERY poor system and the lack of solid blacks is only one of the many problems you'll encounter. Did you use an OEM drum, by the way?

Hi,
i had a very similar problem with what you are facing. the solution was the area above the main charger (within the machine) was dirty and probably arching with the main charger. Take the drum unit out and clean this area properly. Restart and see if this makes any difference.
