All of these exit motors stall with the slightest drag. This is normal!!! Your problem probably is with the fuser exit rollers, specifcally the bushings, they get gummed up and put a little extra drag on the shaft and cause the motor to stall. Replace the bushings and shaft. EMujo

Once again, even on a brand new 453, if you put it in test mode, run the exit motor in fwd or reverse and put any pressure on the exit rollers with your fingers the motor will stall and just sit there and hum. If this is what's happening with your MFP the problem is in the exit roller section. That's all this motor does...run the exit rollers forward and reverse. If you have in excesss of 250K on this box, you may have to replace the entire exit section. I am assuming the motor does work in I/O mode. Any other Toshiba techs want to back me up on tnis one??? Well first off what jam code are you getting? (Hold down C and 8 when the jam occurs and a code will display in the upper right.)

Also consider that the exit motor stops the moment that a jam occurs, and make sure this is not what you are witnessing. It's easy to think that the exit motor stopped, when actually what happened is a sensor flaked out and made the whole machine stop. This might not be the case but is something to consider.

I have already replaced 2 motors and 3 exit rollers and bushings in the last month for this issue. One motor was because the gear actually broke free of the shaft.

Ok,solved this problem with change bushings and exit rollers.find out that the reason is the plastic gear holder at the motor side. This get
large inside where it works on exit roller and makes a lot of charge on the motor gear and block the situation,
Thank you at all and i will help you if i can every time.
