I've heard you can suspend or restrict the 4511 with making color copies/prints by removing the cyan or magenta cartridge. Is it true? is there anty other step to do after removing the cartridge?
Also, is there any other method to restrict using this copier to black and white only?
no you cannot remove the cartridge
no you cannot restrict color... the next new generation you can through the user codes but not these series

fireater is correct, on this model though, if you enable the dept codes and set the colour limit to zero, then colour cannot be used.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints
