my guy reset a fuser error & inspected fuser.....if problem does not reoccur I guess its solved for now----------thanks to all who replied.

Every single time I have had this happen, its been one of the THERMAL FUSES. When I've ohmed them out, one of them is dead. Very common on this box.

Then the other guess would be a dead short in the Heater Coil, but that's pretty unusual. The white plastic sleeve around the heater coil may have worn away and letting it arc to the roller. The sleeve is available separately to replace, if you find you need to replace it.

Just a thought I have seen some strange fuser problems that turned out to be caused by holes in the sleeve of the induction coil also check harness from bottom of ih board that runs below fuser unit to lwr male connector that can work out as the ih board is lowerd to remove fuser good luck
