I do not have the 901 book but it should be close to the 900 which is:
SC750: Cover Interposer Tray Bottom Plate Motor Error
Definition [D]
One of the following events occurred:
• After the motor starts to raise the bottom plate, the bottom plate position
sensor does not detect the plate at the specified time (3 s).
• After the motor starts to lower the bottom plate, the bottom plate HP sensor
does not detect the bottom plate.
Possible Causes
• Bottom plate position sensor defective
• Bottom plate HP sensor defective
• Bottom plate lift motor defective
• Cover interposer tray main board defective
• Motor connectors loose or harness defective
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
Thanks for your reply. I don't have the cover interposer, just the SR5000 finisher. Have been all over the lift sensors etc. another tech replaced a bad lift motor. It damaged the finisher board which was replaced. Had J110 codes at times before the SC750 indicating shift tray. Couldnt find a problem there either. Problem is nearly constant when using finishing features (paper exits to shift tray). OK on basic copying using top tray. Any other help would be appreciated. Thanks.
