Concerning the instauration of the computer host of the E-STUDIO35 operate system

The hard drive that is originally already damage, I think at new of hard drive top install operate system and related procedure.My copier is an E-STUDIO35(GL1010);I use the recover CD(GL1020 recoveryv 2125) of download at new hard drive top can't instauration system.Excuse me, is the reason why?Whether want to install linux first then can use GL1020 recoveryv 2125 instauration system?

In the meantime, can introduction once the computer host of the E-STUDIO35 system install of step?

step 1 run the partition cd (sets up and formats hd)
step 2 run the recovery cd (puts files back on hard drive)
step 3 set up printer settings (ip address)
step 4 load driver on the computer (linux uses a different driver then NT)
step 5 try and print ( you may want to pray at this point)
step 6 if paper comes out with ink on it then you are done.

I like step 5. I'm not a religious guy but my limited experience with Toshiba print systems from that series had me praying a few times.

Only the older systems the newer ebridge are very nice and easy.
step 1 insert ip address
step 2 open internet explorer and imput above ip address
step 3 go into admin tab and configure everything else
step 4 reboot copier and test.
step 5 collect money and leave.
