    Toshiba E-352 Cannot start application.

    Hello all,

I am working on a Toshiba E-studio 352. It is giving me a hard drive issue. First I reloaded the Hard drive thinking that this should solve my problem, yea right! So after hard drive is reloaded I am still getting the message on the op panel "can not start aplication". So now I remove a hard drive out of another E-352 that I know works and install it into this machine. Still the same message... I can't get to any of the service modes or anything.
    Suggestions welcomed.

    Thanks in advance.

Try to reload the firmware completely. Not only the HDD part.

Had this a few times..2 way you might correct it...1st if your are at the latest version (352 I think) take the MFP back down to ver 300 (full install) and then back to latest. 2nd use the recovery jig to set the MFP back to factory then reload latest f/w (full install). That message means that the OS is corrupt and can't load. Emujo

Ended up being the Firmware, currupted somehow I dont know but reloading it worked. Then still had to reload HDD, but checked it first with a HDD from my other machine that I know was good and it fired up fine. And once the original HDD was restored worked as well, Thanks.
