e-Studio 282 network Port

Hello everybody,
There is one e282 that everything is working fine except for the network port. Actually thunder struck and damaged many things on the network. Since then the indicator lights on the port have not lit. I printed through the usb port and it was ok.
If I change the RJ45 port on the sys board, will it work and where can I get it?
If not how much does the sys board cost? Does anyone have it?

You might try HyTec board repair services in Florida. I know they can repair the boards I'm not sure about parts for them though. Good luck!

Thanks for your response but that will cost too much. Can I buy another one and how much?

If cost is the issue, then you need to go with HYTEC, as a new SYS bd is going to run around 700US, Hytec may be able to come in at 1/3 the cost. If you have the skills to de-solder and re-connect the port, find some old PC in the trash and pull the port off. Emujo
