    TOSHIBA 351C PROBLEM

Hello everybody, today i have a toshiba e studio 351c with a color streak problem, transfer belt, and drum unit was already replaced as well as their blades, laser unit looks fine, black developer unit appears fine too, transfer roller was replaced too and still is coming out.
When i print the calibration the streak only comes out in the bottom of the page... Any idea what might be wrong with it or how to solve it???
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

its a transfer roller problem.first of all, check the transfer roller to see if the coating is still on properly.if thats ok the transfer roller housing was modified for this problem.a temporary fix is to open the duplex, and remove the black cover nearest to you

Have you fixed this? Or can you post an example.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

    Smile Re: TOSHIBA 351C PROBLEM

I'm wondering if this issue has been resolved. Ive seen a similar problem which was caused by one of the color developers. I also noted that Ive seen a couple of developers in which the plastic mylar strip just below the magnetic roller was in the outer position causing a build up of toner looking like little toner piles in various spots, I believe this to be a possible culprit with leaving streaks. The mylar strip should be tucked in at the bottom of the mag roller so it rides beneath the roller as it rotates in the machine. Just tossin that in folks..

Sorry took to long to answer back, went out of town for a while, thanks for all the help and yes, the problem was with one of the color developers, it's amazing how much we learn in this site.
    Thanks to all!!!
