Toshiba estudio 520 CD10 Cleaning brush drive motor abnormality

Having trouble with a CD10 code on a Toshiba estudio 520 that keeps coming back. I have replaced the cleaning brush, cleaning brush drive motor and the recycle toner transport motor and cleaned drum unit. It jams and then the CD10 code pops up. Thanks for any advice.

Make sure the gears on the drive motor assembly are clean. I've had this on a couple machines. Cleaned the teeth on the gears and the problem went away.

Check the drive gears on the back of the drum unit and the bushons. It those machines are doing high volume the bushons can wear and also the middle of the idle gear.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

    Thanks for the tip.

I believe it's a mix of belt rubber shavings and toner, compressed over several thousand rotations into the timing pulley teeth. I think that most of the time the belt can spin past the bad spot. But if it stops at the bad spot the motor cannot start, and errors out.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
