    Exclamation Toshiba e-355 e-mail and fax issue

    The issue is that when scanning or faxing from an e-355 to groups the client is getting the message "no from address registered". If scanning to individual emails it works just fine. I have created two separate groups. One with fax only and the other with email. They are now scanning and faxing separately, however when someone has both a fax and email programmed under their name it again says "no from address".

    Anyone seen this or have a solution?

    Do you have a 'from' email address configured in top access?

    Yep, From Address is set up in Top Access. It will email if just sending to a one off or someone that is programmed in address book.

    Are you trying to use Internet Faxing or are you selecting Fax when trying to do the scan?

    Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

    In TopAccess you have to program both the email and internet fax tab identically.

    Not using internet faxing at all and pressing the scan hard button when scanning to the group.

    I understand but program both email and ifax tabs identically. Otherwise your address book will screw up and create error message.

    Still a no go even after making the email and i-fax tabs identical in Top Access. Any other suggestions?
