e-studio 16/20/25 LOW TONER

hi, I Have Toshiba E-studio 250 , This Machine Have Cru Image Unit And Runs For 1026000 Copies So Far,
the Display Shows Add Toner I Put New Cartridge , But Still Add Toner And Runs For 4/5 Minutes And Then Show Low Toner. I Checked The Cartridge Manualy ,the Toner Is Dropping From The Cartridge, The Toner Moter Is Also Ok,.
i Run 05 Mode 200 Also , But Still The Same Result, Please Need Help .

You may need to replace the toner sensor in the process unit or try another process unit altogether.
Also, this model machine does not require 05-200 to perform developer stir.

Toner sensor becomes damaged in these units (Toshiba DP 1600 2000, eStudio16/20) due to its proximity(when door is closed) to a HV cable (I think is transfer wiring), toshiba produced a Service Bulletin respect of this problem.


Enclosed is a pictorial of the wiring replacement procedure. I couldn't find the Service Bulletin itself, sorry.

Hi,

If terminal or charger lackage, the data send to CPU will not be correctly and will send wrong information to panel. and also check the side door, you have to make sure that connector terminal contact properly to connector in the machine.
