e studio 3511 developer latch message - copier freezes up

hi guys
just got a problem with this copier, message on display "developer latch" copier resets on its own after some time or rebooting copier resets message as well.
any ideas on what my be causing message to display?
i suspect developer clutch but it seems to be fine.

i would check the connector/wiring harness for the dev unit as i`ve had that when i`ve left the connector off or not fully seated.A faulty lift clutch would more than likely give a CEB0 error(think is that code)

and that is the right code when the clutch fails.
everything seems ok and that's what kinda is thowing me off, i checked developer connectors and all seem fine.

developer message just comes and goes at random, i've never seen that before...
