    Thumbs down E-282 LVPS

    hi guys
is there any known issues with this power supply(E-282 LVPS),as so far i have more than five machines down for the same reason.
the machine boots until the main screen then it goes off & the main switch returns back.
I’ve replaced the power supply and it works but i don't board for every machine.
is there any thing we can do with failed board.
    regards

Try checking the fuser lamps. If they are short circuited they can cause the machine to automatically shutdown for protection. Also try resetting the 08-400 fuser error counter as well.

    Dear all,
I've all of my boards repaired at some local electronic workshop, but as you know they will not told us what was wrong with those boards.
the heaters have nothing wrong and they just work fine when you replace the LVPS.
some thing might be configured with those boards ,just like the E-35 LVPS

Look for triacs attached to large heat sink. Those are your problem.

    Hi,

Have you tried to fix the Power supply? try check the TRC for fuser lamp in the power supply.because e282 has 2 fuser lamp, the TRC must be two too in there. ussually one of them broken. i think you can find this TRC in your local market.

    thanks
