The GL1010 was designed and discontinued long before 64 bit computers were available in the market place. Toshiba will never be providing 64 bit drivers for this discontinued product. You are much better off to remove the GL1010 from the copier and format the HDD. You can use the minitower computer for some other PC task.
Thanks for the response and I see your point. I just wish that Toshiba would get with the program because I can find 64 bit drivers for just about any other brand of discontinued products that were out there long before WIN7 and 64bit. I did see a PS Vista 64bit driver but this unit does not have PS capabilities.
You might want to update the GL1010 firmware to make it a GL1020..I am 100% sure it support PS (PSL) and PCL printing..The Vista 32 bit mini driver might work...another option..you might be able to make it a basic page printer by using a generic PS driver built for Linux..Google it and you will see some tips on how to do this. Is the GL1010 at version 2.30 software? If so, here's the driver that you need: GL1010 Win 2k/XP/03/Vista 32/64 bit Mini Postscript Driver v1.0.8.0 - I'll attach it to this message
If not, it's easy to upgrade the software (takes about 20 min). I have the system software disks to do that.
I already have found, downloaded and installed that driver. Did not work. I have already installed a Ricoh in place of the Toshiba and my client is very happy. Thanks for all of the responses.
