    3510c LCF problem

Don't work too often on Toshiba machines. This one has me baffled:
Large capacity feeder - stacking paper on the left side, machine moves it nicely to the right, but the vertical ramp that pushes the paper - as soon as it's done moving the paper to the right - moves all the way back to the left. Now there is nothing to prevent paper on the right from slipping back and moving itself away from the feeder.
Why does the ramp move all the way to the left instead staying against the loaded paper preventing it from slipping away?

The LCF loads the paper level not like other trays (cassettes). They use a lift tray which is sloped. There is no need for a guide to stop the paper on the right sliding towards the left.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

There is only a spring loaded lever guide on the right side to keep paper in place. It does ok.. It is on the right side in the left rear corner. Also, if customer loads paper sloppy, it pushes that guide out of the way..You can even ocassionally get a display message to "check paper in lcf"
