Image Output Quality

Heya All,

Some remaining issues with print output I'm wondering if anyone can help with:

Light Tone Colour Gradients:
Each colour has a gradient in the light tones from top to bottom of the page with the centre being darker. I had picked charge being the problem but new grid and corona didnt' alter the gradient.

Colour Registration:
Colour registration isn't even across a page (left to right). The registration from top to bottom is perfect. The Colours start out perfectly registered on the leading edge then has a couple of vertical areas where different colours are pulled out up to one or two points. Is this normal or is perfect registration across an entire A3 page possible. Fuser speed seems fine but the registration speed failed on test (see below)

Image Dimensinoal Adjustment:
after trying to run through the IDA, 406 (Registration Roller Speed Adjustment) tried to run through the cylce initially and then failed. Ever since 406 will now fail instantly and I can't find any way to define the cause of the problem. Any ideas on this one. The reg roller may be the cause of the colour reg above but until I can solve the error I won't be able to tell.

Just on a side note. I removed all the charge grids and gave them a thoroughly clean on the inside which removed a heap of artifacts on the output as well. Enough so I was suprised how much different it made.

Fiery Updating

ohh one more thing I should ask why I'm doing it at the moment...

Just tried adding more ram to the fiery with some SD ram I had lying around but the Fiery refuses to recognise anything I can put in the second slot. Bad slot or is it not auto-discovering new ram?

I'm going to have to get the Fiery system updated to 2.1 versus the 2.0 that is presently installed. Can anyone point me at a good detailed source of the update process. the software and firmwar lists that can be updated?
