Direct usb print question

Hello

Does anyone know why on one toshiba es2500c when I try to print from a usb memory stick it asks me to put thick 1 paper in the bypass but when using the same memory stick in another machine it prints on plain paper with no prompts?
I checked the handbook and only see a setting to change the default paper size to print to in 08 3802. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
