    eB3 and Remote Access (SNMP)

Does any of you know what exacly is this function ?:
    20)Remote Access (SNMP)
When this function is enabled, the service technician can remotely access and set the equipment. Set to [Enable] on
    request from the service technician.

Second question: Does any of you uses any hardware/software to remotly grand access to setup MFP (like access to TopAccess through Internet) or is there any build-In functionality to do so ?
eBX is based on Linux - maybe there is any plug-ins for remote setup - RD like.

If I am right, then this is the same as the older e-Bridge models where by Toshiba have a service tool that you can look at service codes, management lists and so.

The 08 code that you are referring to enables you to connect to the machine using this tool / software.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

There might be an update yet to be released. Chances are that it got delayed as the eBX drivers were crap and everyones time and resources were poured into the driver development.
