Question Ghost paper jam on Toshiba 2310

Hello, today I got a Toshiba 2310 copier from a guy in my town. He said that it has a problem where it likes to jam. Silly me, I went for it thinking I could fix it (thank God it was free ).

Anyway, all of the paths are clear and I am not sure where to go from here. I opened the side panels and saw nothing. I opened up the paper drawers, and still nothing.

It is at "B" on the diagram. Could this be a bad sensor? Anyone with any ideas?

    Hi,

Ussually this because some bad sensor. for this type ussually registration sensor is bad (below rol regist). to check this sensor you can use ch (03 + power ON) program. after ch appear on the panel than press print button. open the machine than try to move the sensor. if the signal display on the panel blinking properly, that mean your sensor is ok. If no, than you have to change it.

In other words, hire a tech

I do all the computer building and programming in my office, but I am no copy machine or printer tech by any means. I have already destroyed one copy machine by fiddling with it.

    Thanks for your help!
