to scan like a normal scanner and save the file onto the networked computer?

I have read about the gl-1070 internet fax controller that scans and all, but without this controller fitted can an E-studio 25 scan if it has the gl-1060 controller and is networked?

Also, does the gl-1070 and gl-1060 fit in the same spot in the copier or do they fit in different locations in the e-studio 25.

For activated scan in eStudio 25 you need Fax board option and external keyboard. But this scan only via parallel Cable (local scan). to activated Intenet Fax or Scan to email you will need I-Fax Board. this another different option. and certainly you need NIC too.

If one fax card had all the options on it it would have been a lot simpler.
