You shouldn't need to change Bias settings, are you getting light or dark copies, do you have background? What does the P.M. Report state - Power On holding 9 + Start (List Print) enter 103 > Start, this will show the Life of the Consumables (Drum, Dev, Grid etc. Life is 500K). If you can describe the faults or POST samples this may help other Techs to assist also.

I can't remember offhand but with the e520 you may have to either disconnect the developer connector or remove the developer material or both. I would try disconnecting the dev connector first.

Like canonbundy mentioned, why are you looking to adjust the bias for? What was the original fault? The machines adjust themselves as the parts wear. In the manual it shows you how to check/adjust the bias.
