colour registration related error, it's just about the most common error on these machines ( and the fc210 etc... ) there are a number of causes, you could try cleaning the colour reg sensors & the iqc sensor while you are in that area, they are located above the fuser unit on the under side of the optics frame, then run colour registration setup in 05 mode, the code is 407. the chances are though that there's something else wrong, usually one of the developers depleted, you also get the problem if there's something wrong with the transfer belt / it's drive etc...
sometimes the transfer belt runs to tight, usually you can hear a groaning sound from the machine when it's running the belt if this is the case.

the gear that drives the transfer belt also wears, this is located on the rear frame on a drive assembly.

i'd check the devs to make sure they are ok.
the list of possibilities is quite long.

    good luck.

there are 2 colour reg sensors , they are front & rear above fuser ( inside 2 black plastic tunnels that point down at the transfer belt ) the iqc sensor is between them, it has a plastic shutter which opens via a solenoid to expose the sensor ( there's a small square cutout in the plastic shutter, when open the cutout is where the iqc sensor is ) the code for iqc is 878 ( old parts, eg: no drums etc... fitted ) or 879 ( new parts fitted ) both them codes can be run in 05 mode.
