CD3 Codes EST651

I am having CD3 codes on EST651's. I have changed both recycle and waste toner motors. Is there anything else I am missing? Thanks

yes, the recycle toner hopper will be stuffed full of toner. take it apart ( the lid comes off after you've removed a couple of screws ) empty it out & then modify the mixer paddle by fixing some cable ties to it's centre spindle, they need to be about the length from the spindle to the top of the arm of the paddle.
you can also set the amount that the recycle toner drives through at to more than 100% , 08 456, set it to a 1

i have found that the recycle auger gets clogged with toner and puts the auger motor in a bind which causes the cd3 code to be tripped..if i remember correctly,there was an update to the auger assembly in the form of bearings on the ends instead if bushings.. may be fine after just cleaning out the recycle auger completely..(who knows )...good luck to ya..

simple fix for this is to empty hopper out first and make sure the update is installed with the end bearing and e-clip instead of the plastic bushing. After reassembling machine, set codes 08-455 and 456 to 8 (these can only be set to 8 if your firmware is current). This basically keeps the recycle hopper constantly turning to ensure that it will not fill up. You will technically use more fresh toner this way but it is not something you will be able to notice. Also, since you are using more fresh toner and keeping the recycled toner to a minimum at all times, your blacks will stay more constant and true.

Well my friend i think that problem is not on that motor, you must chek the recycle motor in fron of the machine, near to the toner botle. There are two motors in a bracket, select the recycle motor in that area.
