Toshiba re-rite 6 email conversion issue

Good day,

the issue i'm running into is as follows:

I have re-rite 6 setup as a service on a server and its working fine. I have created an exchange email for it to use for conversions, now it is able to send emails out perfectly fine but it is not able to check incoming email for files to convert correctly.

there are no errors being logged anywhere so i have no idea what is causing it to fail. i known the server and login info is correct, but there no indication it is even checking new emails for attachments to convert. does re-rite not function correctly with exchange emails, or am i missing something in my setup?

if anyone could offer some advice as to what i can check, and if this setup is even possible i would appreciate it.

You need rerite 8.2 and update the machine.

I don't have the option to upgrade version at this time, likewise the option exists in version 6 so it must be possible to setup somehow. Or does version 6 not support exchange and only works with other emails such as pop or imap?
