    TOSHIBA e-STUDIO3530C clicking noise when turned on

    copier is making this clicking noise when turned on in the morning. it is not doing it during the day when turned off and on. they sent me video with the noise. anyone else has this issue?

    The sound seems from the cassette where it does not lift up properly...
    Normally the tray up motor gear that engaged the cassette will worn out for this model...

    After listening to that clip a couple of times, and from personal experience, by any chance have you checked out the fuser for flat spots? Is the drive gear on the fuser worn (Quite common for those to chew the gear, in which you can just turn it around provided the other side isn't rooted also)?

    Check the PM for the Fuser 6+Start power on 2 Start - more than likely the Belt is old and has wrinkles across the surface, when the Fuser warms up (from cold) the Belt will give a crackly sound and as it gets hotter the wrinkles 'iron out', hence the noise goes away.

    Sounds like it is running it's initial IQC/cleaning cycle on warm up.

    My guess would be either waste toner auger or toner feed locking up.
    No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.
