Toshiba e studio 4520C

Hi,

I have a Toshiba e studio 4520C coming up with CE40 I've replace the black EPU a couple of times. I might just need to do the Image Quality Sensor, anyone knows where that's located?

ive done Contrast voltage 08, 556
ive done Laser power 08, 557

ive cleared the Abnormal Detection Counter 08, 573-576

ive cleaned the main charge and slit glass,

is there anything else I'm missing? Help will be much appreciated.

Remove ITB Unit to access I.Q. Sensor - slide black cover to the left to clean sensors (a good vac or cotton bud).

What settings were 08-556 & 557 set at? (Should be 1 for IQC Adj enable).

What reading did each of the 08-573=Y, 4=M, 5=C, 6=K give? (If all read 0 the EPU's are OK and problem will be dirty IQ Sensors).

Check the Mag Roll Surfaces - if they are smooth the Developer will not hold, roughen the surface with fine emery paper.

Perform IQC Adj - 05-396 > 4719 > 4 FAX 1642 > 70 FAX 1008.

What is the CQ like on this machine, have you tried the half tone/ sky shots etc to check the CQ also?
