| I can't help with the Toshiba specific questions.
But I can help with the driver questions. There are two basic print languages: Printer Control Language (PCL) and PostScript (PS). Each language has evolved several times, in several versions.
As PCL goes: The most recent version is PCL6, but for certain applications PLC5e (black & white) or PCL5c (color) is preferred.
PostScript is generally the preferred choice for graphics applications, if your Toshiba can emulate PostScript.
The main thing to keep in mind here is that both the driver and the printer must use the same emulation. It's sort of like speaking German to an American (or vice versa). |
