Scan to "mapped" drive
I have a new install on a e347cs and a Win7 Pro PC. The customer wants me to scan to a "mapped" Z drive presumably created by going to Start/ Computer/ Map Network Path.
I can create a folder on the same PC's C drive and scan to it no problem with the computers credentials.
Any ideas?

Re: Scan to "mapped" drive
The mapped drive would have had a UNC path before it became Z:, you can find this path in command prompt if you type net use, the original path name is under Remote. Most devices would be able to scan to a UNC path name.

Re: Scan to "mapped" drive
If the Z drive is a separate server you may have to provide the login credentials for that server. UNC path should read something like \\Server name\folder
No! we never do that with the copier.
