    toshiba c3500 says jam

    machine shows jam after running, none found, will not reset unless u shut power off/on, can run again, then shows jam,again. i was told maybe power problem? part of a package i service.

    Sounds like a sensor is flaking out, have you tried doing input/output checks on the machine? Toshiba should show you approximately which sensor it is in most cases.
    No! we never do that with the copier.

    I would start by looking for a piece of ripped paper holding down a switch or a access door not seated properly where does it say the jam is

    I am guessing an E030 Jam. Check connector to fuser exit sensor and the other end behind the r/h fuser cover, these connectors will seperate from constantly opening & closing the exit flap to remove jams - when rectified do the maintenance, ie clean any toner build up on the metal guide plate also the Sep Claws & make sure all springs are intact.
