    toshiba Estudio 550

Keeps coming up a c-47 code. A fuser code from the information I have. I checked the thermal switches/fuses and the fuse on the board in front of the fuser assembly. Will replacing the thermisters take care of this problem? Anyone know of where I can get a service manaual? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

check the female connector in the machine contact with the male connector at the fuser's rear section. is the female connector in the machine deformed or broken? is there paper stuck in any of the female connectors?

i heard there is a mod kit for the thermostat for the 550 series....has it been installed?

if all else fail, issue could be coming from faulty IH board or also the Logic board.

make sure machine is off, press the button "0" and "8" simultaneously, hold both button, on the machine, wait till it enters the "test mode"

once in test mode, release the 0 and 8 button, press "4" "0" "0", and then start.

press "0", press enter, and reboot the machine...

FYI, 08-400 will give u a code, if you refer to the service handbook, you can get to know when this eror occured...

there is something wrong with it, i did exactly as told BUT the "Test Mode" screen came up and quickly change to "Call for Service" screen.
I tried to use number "6" + "Start" button, it booted to "Test Mode" screen, can i still reset it by using "6" + "Start" or have to be "0" + "8" ?
