studio e160 - how to reset the password?

Hi everyone,

We've just inherited a second-hand studio e160 from the library, and the machine has been lying dormant for nearly a year and hence - everyone has forgotten the department code...

I've tried looking through the manual for any help on resetting the codes, but it looks like because I can't get pass the code screen I won't be able to reset or change it -

I'm sure there must be an override, can someone out there please help us?!

Turn it off.
Press [1] [3] [*] and turn ON ,wait with buttons pressed some time.
It clears all data. After this factory settings will be restored.
