Toshiba E-Studio 550 GL1020 Controller Issues

I have this Problem with a Toshiba E-Studio 550.. "Starting Controller Please Wait". Wont come out of wait. Copies fine, Wont print.
I have read it is most likley the 20gb HD causing the failure.

I need help in reinstalling the new hard drive and system software.

i think it wrong OS, you must update OS and recovery for GL 1020.

Dear sir,
try to make an image for your HDD in order to use it in the next times.
I've a master copy made by ACRONICS TRUE IMAGE which i use it to make copies on demand.

The HDD after you replace ,it pending if you have one preloaded with the software,if not you wil have to partation the hdd with the partation CD and then load the software with the CD using and extrenal CD drive i have the cd's let me know if you need a copy or you can get it from our site.don't forget it is and iso file if you download it email me if you need more info hope this helps
also we have seen this problem also caused by the ram chips....

Hi I also am having this problem i have a new hdd to install, but i'm unsure of what to do. I have a recovery disk. do i just put in the hdd and install or do i need to do a special software?

Install the had drive then run the partition cd when that is done run the recovery cd.
