Toshiba 2060 has doc feeder error

Customer has a Toshiba 2060 with a MR3008A doc Feeder. We made a service call and discovered that the trouble was really an error, "Put Doc Feeder Down"

I need a service manual on the doc feeder. I have the 2060 service manual but it does not include the doc feeder. Does anyone know what sensor is involved here? I didn't see a plunger or any other sensor.

Please send me the doc feeder service manual if you have one please.

Thganks

All U need is to set up ADF from the scratch - like U are installing new one. The problem is in the front left side on scanner unit where is placed rid sensor giving such indincation when ADF is not on the right position.
OR
U have to twist ADF to the right and to the left until message gone away.

There is a switch under the doc feeder in the back. You will see sticking out under the doc feeder. It is activated by putting the doc feeder down. When it fails it will show the error that you are getting. Do you have parts book? Do you have email address maybe I can still get you a manual.

The jam access cover on the exit side of the RADF has a sensor at the rear- the magnet that activates is located in the the access cover itself. Have had to re-install the magnet numerous times. If the magnet can be found, just glue it back in. I attached a Word file with the drawing of the exit area- the magnet is #34.
