Weird Problem

I need help with a Toshiba DP2570.
Problem is this: Machine comes to a ready and might copy 1 or 2 pages and the control panel freezess up. The start button was green but is not responding. I turn it on and off and again it might copy 1 or 2 then freeze up. over (250,000 copies). Any ideas would be greatly appreicated.

I can't claim much specific knowledge of Toshiba, but its fairly common on any make to get dirt or skurf under the edge of a button holding that button down. When one button is held down it disables all others. Also check each keyswitch for more than 0.5 ohms resistance when closed.

I have seen this with a bad button as previous poster stated, a bad control panel and a bad hard drive, especially when doing sorting and multiple originals.

Possible arching corona blocks specifically T/S and drum ground-make sure it is touching frame.
