    E Studio 2830C maintenance time

Does anyone have a service manual for this copier. I had a customer call for light copies, and the time for maintenance light is on. I have already priced maintenance kits and they are extremely expensive on Precision Roller. Any recommendations about this model will certainly be welcome.

Change developer in all units and start up in service mode by holding Start & 6....once it warms up press 1 and start...this will run the developer auto-setup....shut off and then press start &6....press 2 and this will take you to the maintenance tables....reset the items with *.

As far as I know, 6S-01 does not exist, and does not set the developer.

I would write this off as bad advice, and get a manual and read for myself from section 3.1 of the service handbook.
Yes I agree that the maintenance kits are expensive. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hey Blackcat....Do you even work on Toshiba?.......I work on them every day ever since our dealership started selling them about 8 years ago so it is NOT bad advice.

Only a year ... but I can read a manual. Show me this mysterious 6S-01. And which colors will it stir? What about 05-200, 201, 202, 203, 204? What would you use these sims for? =^..^=

After I posted the reply I realized I was thinking of B&W machines auto setup.....BTW I believe 05-204 runs all of the units simultaneously.

    Oops!
    CORRECTION:

    05-200 stirs CMYK
    05-204 stirs K only =^..^=

Yup. This is how I admit when I've made a mistake without bashing anyone. =^..^=
