    Toshiba 477sl

I have a customer that want to buy this all in one for his office of 10 employees. Is it a good reliable machine?
Is the ADF is heavy duty like the c455 etc ADF?
Any other input before I buy it for him?
    Thanks

It looks like a re-badged Lexmark. If you, I have been pleasantly surprised by how well the Lexmarks hold up to heavy use. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's re-badged Okidata. So far we haven't had any bad experiences with them. The feeder is definitely much more light weight than an e255 or any other Toshiba series, but haven't had any complaints from customers. We've got one in a law firm doing 8-10k a month and they really like it.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Thanks, I'll pass this info to the customer and he will decide. That was very helpful.

Does this machine when you install the fax option come with "fax/printer separator, or do you need the finisher for separation?

Where would you separate then to? There's only one exit tray. You could relay the faxes to an email destination I suppose, or a box on the HDD.

I suppose the answer would be no. According to the brochure (that you can read right here: http://business.toshiba.com/media/do...20Brochure.pdf) The Toshiba 477SL does not accept a finisher, but the Toshiba 527S does accept the MJ1038 inner finisher. It's a single tray jogging finisher, so the best you can hope for is jogged jobs or sets. =^..^=
