I would be sure that toner is actually getting to the dv. I have had the toner drive spin freely and not turn the auger inside. Take it out and push the toner seal back and spin it. Toner should come out.

Also Lanier and Toshiba toner are not interchangable (differant drive) If that is not the problem look at the developer gears, they may be stripped. Also the drum blade may not be wiping and sucking toner through it like a siv. Check the waste bottle.

Also does it actually say BD-3560? I am used to just Toshiba 3560.

Enter 05-90 and try change 128 (default) to some lower value.

Waste Bottle full Sensor

The way it works is when the waste bottle is full it backs up the toner auger in the cleaning unit and it is spring loaded. It pushes the auger back and hits the switch on the rear frame. It is a bad design, I tell my customers to empty the waste toner every time they change toner and they will run cleaner and won't go through as many drum blades. It's kinda screwy really.

I don't think lowering the toner sensor value will help but you can try it. When was the last time you changed the developer? I bet its in the developer unit. Developer, driver gears or toner sensor. Some times if the dv is old it will pull or loose an amount of dv that messes up the toner sensor value and you just have to change the dv. Thats all I can think of good luck!

Yes ,change the "90" settings it's one of the last things you should do.
I assume that you did everything with dev unit already (check and replace material if needed). I once had such a unit with new material and everything was simply ok but only change this setting make machine works. Dev unit in two different machines do the same: adding toner forever ...
Good luck.

sbarro and wild bill, thanks so much, I'll change the values see if it can clear the problem , I have another unit of 3560, I'll swap the dv unit and see what happens also
that answers my question on where the sensor is, have been trying to understand what makes it detect full for days - thanks

thanks so much , I solved so many problems by changing the value of the 05-90 it seems that all the settings were intentionally set high i dont know for whatever reason, i also encountered a defective tdc sensor, I'm almost an expert on solving minor problems already,

Now I'm encountering a new problem on another machine BD-2860 , its C41, kind of thermistor problem, but I've switched two fusing units and it seems that the problem is with the machine, I hope you can help me how to solve this problem, also the fuser doesn't heat up at all, it shows only one second of warming up, then service call at once

I also have another problem with another machine BD-4560, its C44, when I turn it on it shows C44, I've switched fuser units also on this machine and the problem is also with the machine, not on the fusing unit, also same case , one second of warming up then call service at once, fuser doesn't heat up also, I hope you can also help me with this problem, thanks a million

Don't pull the circuit boards. Once the machine throws a fuser error, the error counter must be reset back to "0", for safety's sake. The error counter is in the 08 modes.
