4520 Series code or setting to bypass service codes

Does anyone know a way to allow just the black to work even if one of the colors has problems? I have a machine in my service that was set by an unknown tech to do this and I would find it quite handy to be able to do in a pinch for my customers.

I believe it's 08-4546 set from default "5" to "0". Remember though that it shuts off auto color calibration and registration, so your image quality can vary a lot. =^..^=

Thanks for your response however I think its another procedure. I'm familiar with setting 4546 to 0" as I have done this a few times but the procedure I'm looking for will allow black to work even if the color units are inserted with bad coronas or even unplugged at the front.

When i turn off image quality control on the older machines i usually change 08 - 4546 to 0, 08 - 556, 557 to 0.
