Xerox Workcentre 5755 paper jam
Hi friends...
in Workcentre 5755 paper jamming occurred when doing double sided printing or copying. But it is ok when doing single sided. What are the main reasons for this. I am new to Xerox workcentre machines. Please help.

Re: Xerox Workcentre 5755 paper jam
When the machine jams, select Machine Status button to find out the Fault code (jam code). This will tell us where the jam took place.
Aside from that, you can remove the duplex assembly (1 screw & 1 connector) from the front of the machine to inspect for any damage. The top of the duplex unit opens to clear jams. You may have a broken hinge on this part. Check where the 1 screw that holds the duplex unit in place goes. This small piece of plastic can break off. Inspect the green latch that holds the top of the duplex unit closed. The latch can be popped out of place not allowing it to close all the way. Inspect the sensor actuator in the duplex unit where the paper exits the duplex to go back into the registration assembly. This actuator can be bent from improper jam removal and can block the paper path not allowing any paper to pass through.

The most common cause is the duplex sensor. It's only one sensor in duplez assy so go on it

Yeah duplex sensor, sometimes it can get stuck at the top of it's travel, also can be bent backwards when users are too rough removing paper trapping it in place when duplex top cover is closed.
