    Question ColorQube 9303 Error 093-557 & 094-534

Company has 2 Xerox ColorQube 9303 models. Both have an error.

    Copier A has error 093-557
Looking around the site it seems that 093 may have something to do with the Ink Reservoir. Any one know direct error code?

    Copier B has error 094-534
Looking around for this one I found that it may be the drum driver belt. Thoughts on this?

New to the site. Thanks so much for the help!

    Re: ColorQube 9303 Error 093-557 & 094-534

I found instructions for getting into service mode. I discovered that the 093-557 is 'head 3 black reservoir fill timeout.' Any tips to try much appreciated.

Powered up the other copier. 094-534 reads YA belt slip fault. Thanks for suggestions as to what may be causing issue.

093-557, You probably have a clog in the air channels. You will most likely have to replace the ink reservoir and the umbilical (that goes to head 3)

094-534, Your drum drive belt is probably either totally worn out or starting to get worn and slipping. This belt is pretty easy to replace. Just remove the fan at the rear of the drum unit, release the belt tension lever to remove the belt. Make sure to remove the drum drive motor (easy to remove, 1 clip and it slides off). Check the pulley on the motor shaft to make sure it doesn't have pieces of the old belt wrapped around it.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will probably borrow parts from one machine to put on the other so at least I have one up and running ASAP. Thanks again for the advice.

    Hello

    The colorqubes are nightmare!!!...

The first error the black ink on the head timeout, the only way to fix it is by installing a new fru umbilical cable.
Had the same problem about a year ago and the fru umbilical was the cause.

The second error, a new drum belt is required (the new belts are green) when removing the old one pay attention and clean the area and look for pieces of the old belt.

    Hope it helps

    Cheers

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I am thinking of pulling the umbilical from the machine that has the bad belt and seeing if I can get one working machine. I've got to prepare for a training that is on the 30th and I'm not sure if I can get a new part in quick enough to print the materials I need for 80 teachers.

    Any tips for transplanting an
umbilical cable? I know this isn't the place to ask, but anyone have a service manual?

I swapped the umbilical, no luck, 093-557 still persists. Got the pros coming out today.
