    Configuration Sim and NVRAM

    Good morning,

Yesterday, a technician I was assisting moved the NVRAM from a 4510 printer with 400K impressions to a unit with only 10K impressions without moving the configuration SIMM (big no-no). Now the 10K unit reads 400K impressions, even when he put in it's original NVRAM. Is there a way to correct the impressions count (he printed out the configuration page). I know on HP you can use printer job language to update the page count, maintenance count, etc. Does Xerox offer the same functionality?

If you are looking to get the original count back, I don't think that is possible. The only option you would have is to install brand new NVRAM & config SIMM to get the count to 0.
