Xerox 252 error 012-101

I get an intermittent error on a Xerox 252, error 012-101. Error code means 'Dec out snr on jam'

I can't find this code in the service manual unfortunately. Any ideas?

Typically this is caused by the gears in the rear of the finisher. After time they work apart from each other, there is actually a kit you can purchase from Xerox. If the gears grind as the paper enters the finisher this is likely the problem.

Or the decurler clutch has gone bad. It's in with the gears on the back silver ad has 2 wires connecting it.

Any updates on this one? I am having the same issue. Same error code but jamming just before the decurler @ holepunch position.
