    Xerox 7845 Service mode

    Hi all

    Im a Ricoh tech (ex Xerox) and would like to know how to enter diagnostic mode on a Xerox 7845?

    our client has Fuser error and wanted to make sure I knew how to reset this

    Service mode can be entered by holding 0 for 10 seconds then while still holding down the 0 key pressing start.
    6789 enters diagnostic mode 2732 enters CSE mode

    Unlike Ricoh you don't have to enter service mode to reset all fuser errors on Xerox. If they are having a fuser error first inspect the fuser for damaged rollers. If all looks well try a simple power off / on. If that does not correct it you'll probably have to replace the fuser.

    Tge machine keeps getting a 'Fuser System error' when printing say 15 pages...

    Did you get the "Fuser System Error" resolved? I have the same problem on a WC 7970. I did notice the heat roller had a small wrinkle an inch or so from the edge.
