Isnt a code; it is a file you must upload to machine via WebUI interface.
And the file is generated by Xerox. I dont know if someone outside of the Xerox can generate this file.

    Croma,
Good evening. Are you looking to convert from a Metered Service Plan to a Sold Plan? Either way here it is.

You can switch from a Metered Plan (Free supplies, they are included in a cost per copy contract) to a Sold plan (You purchase your own supplies ie Xerox.com, Ebay, OEM Connect) without a software code.

As for going from a Sold Plan to a Metered Plan, the previous post were are correct as you need a software patch that is generated thru an internal database and is generated by serial number.

Hope this helps let me know or PM

If you want to convert from sold to metered just need to save all critical nvm, then remove the battery from the MCU nvm, wait 5 minutes, put back the battery remove all sold toners inside the machine, power on the printer and synchronize the serial numbers. Install for the first time a metered toner then reload previously saved nvm. Your machine will accept metered and sold toners now.

I doubt this will work, the NVM are also saved in two other places so when you sync the NVM data will be re-written. With that said I have never tried this before.

The nvm for service plan is a read only stored in the MCU nvm, when you removed the battery it resets to worldwide neutral.

If you pull the same batt in a colorqube the meters go back to 0.

Thought supplies might be the same....
